If you are interested in easily composting kitchen scraps and junk mail, this book will tell you everything you need to know to be successful using worms to do it. The author, who probably knew more about this subject than anyone else, ever, was also an educator, so the book is straightforward, clearly written and a wealth of information. I've given away more copies of this book than I can remember, and even after years of composting in worm bins, this is still my go-to resource.
This is one of the more helpful books for worm composting.I still refer back to it and have read it more than once. My worm bin is now thriving thanks to the helpful information in this book!Also has lots of great detailed drawing as well.
The book was easy to read and follow, detailed a good bit about overall kitchen scrap removal via worms. I enjoyed author's point of view. Great book if you simply want to vermicompost kitchen scraps. For people who want larger scale worm raising, it still offers some good foundational reading.
