This is a super cute journal for a kiddo to use to record things they are grateful for and things that make them happy. What a great idea! We should all do this. If you're just looking for a blank template for recording such things, this is a great journal, as every page is the same template to record what you were grateful for that day. If you're looking for any written content, guidance in gratitude, or anything other than the templates, you want a different product.
This book is a A great way for kids to learn to appreciate life! It is so easy to use! Even if your kid isn't old enough to write in them, it's fun to take 30 minutes from your day to work with your kiddo to talk about what they're grateful for.
This book is such a great way for kids to reflect about their day, what makes them grateful, and for you to bond with them while they fill it out! This was a daily exercise I did with my niece and nephew right when they got home from class and we all learned a lot about each other and had great discussions. It also helps them get into the practice of writing down stuff that’s important to them, which I’m sure will be valuable in the future if they ever want to look back on their childhood. Personally, I recommend stickers for the “happiness level†meters on each page and to just help decorate because the inside could use some color (it's in black/white/gray) and of course kids love stickers! Also colored pens/pencils/crayons for the same reason. The happiness level meter is also a good way to check in on the emotional well being of your kid!
I bought this book for my niece for the holidays (I’m on top of my shopping!), and I’m super pleased with how it looks. She’s in to horses, but I think unicorns will be good enough. I think if we can sit down every day and make a habit of being grateful about specific things, we’ll realize that life is pretty great! She’s already a pretty positive kid but she also just started school and we all know how that can be - sometimes fine, but sometimes a total disaster. Anyway, I know how beneficial my own gratitude journal has been for helping with daily meditation, managing anxiety from the day today and creating structure to journaling. Those are the real gifts I’m trying to give her.
This is a great starter journal for any child. Very kid friendly and a colorful cover. Every page has "Today I Am Grateful For", "Something Awesome That Happened Today", and "My Level of Happiness".
When trying to start the habit of bringing gratitude into your life, it is important to not just think about what you are grateful for, but to write it down. Young children need much support in knowing how to be grateful. This book provides a journal where children can write “Something Awesome that Happened Today†and circle their level of happiness with emojis. This is an excellent way to help children think about their day and what they are grateful for.
This is perfect and just what I hoped to find for my granddaughters. It encourages creativity in drawing daily and space to write or dictate to someone who will write what a child is grateful for. Kids need this! They offer a space-themed version too.
Nine year old girls is REALLY making use of this . . . the emoji factor on each page has made it extra fun for her - even creating her own for some days!
